Aamir Ali (Prithviraj Sukumaran) is not your average kingpin. He didn’t crawl his way up from the streets; he inherited a multi-million-dollar gold smuggling network from his lineage, a dynasty of gangsters stretching back generations. He operates with a corporate efficiency, a cold pragmatism that keeps his rivals at bay and his empire humming. But the past is a leaky vessel. When his estranged father, the legendary Mambarakkal Ahmed Ali (Mohanlal), a man who retired from the game under a cloud of blood and betrayal, resurfaces, Aamir’s controlled world begins to unravel.
The catalyst is a smuggling deal gone spectacularly wrong, orchestrated by the ambitious and venomous Harris Basheer (Neil Nitin Mukesh). Harris, a new-age thug with no respect for the old codes, sees Aamir’s vulnerability as an opportunity. What follows is a chain of vengeance and legacy, forcing Aamir to confront not just his external enemies but the ghosts of his own bloodline. The narrative weaves between present-day conflict and fragmented flashbacks, revealing why Ahmed Ali left, who betrayed whom, and what it truly means for Aamir to wear the title of "The Ruler."
